The History of Babi Resistance At Fort Tabrsi in Mazandaran
تاریخ مقاوت بابیه در قلعه طبرسی مازندران
The 'History of Babi Resistance at Fort Tabrsi' is written by someone who was present and very much involved in the events he has covered and was one of the very few who survived the long and heroic resistance of the early believers of the religion of Bayan at fort Tabarsi in Mazandaran during which two of the most prominent Letters of the Living (Qoddus & Bab-al-Bab) were martyred.
Although the author of the book has not identified himself in his book, according to Mirza Mustafa Katib a well known Bayani scribe who has transcribed this book, the author of the book is none other than a Qajar Prince with the name of Lutf-Ali Mirza who had joined the ranks of Babis. This is confirmed by the narrator of the Events of Mimiyeh who says that the Prince joined them when entering the village 'Mulla'.
Mirza Mustafa says that Lutf-Ali Mirza was a Qajar prince who lived in Tabriz and had houses and properties there.
In his letter to Browne, Mirza Mustafa says that the book has not covered the events to the very end and his efforts to find another copy were not successful. He suspects that the author has not written more than what is available in this book. "A friend told me that the copy he saw at someone's possession was no more than this" he says.
