According to Mirza Jawad’s Historical Epitome of 1904 Materials For the Study of the BÁBi Religion by Prof. Browne P.5 “When he [i.e. Baha] was thirty-three years old of age, he went to the place called Sheykh Tabarsi in Mazandaran, where he suffered at the hands of the Shia divines and their followers, and was imprisoned in the town of Amul, one of the dependencies of Mazandaran, and was much afflicted, and despoiled of his property.”
