The BÂB is an independent manifestation of God.--Ö

In the result with the change in the times there is a change in the station of Baha and of the Primal Point: Baha decreases and the BÂB increases. This atmosphere of uncertainty and concern among the Bahais as regards the station of Baha rather than the Primal Point stems from the Bahai hierarchy's equivocation to fit Baha into the fabric of the Bayanic dispensation.

As a rule every non-Bayani writer who has made mention of the Primal Point has pointed out that this title taken by him at the beginning of his mission (the first four years) signifies in Arabic 'Gate' but in specifying whereunto he professed to be the Gate they are no longer in accord. The Bahai hierarchy is no exception to this rule.
