15.3.4  Birth of Him Whom God Will Make Manifest

1. The liquid semen from which He whom god will make manifest is to proceed is declared to be ceremonially clean out of respect for him. V, 15.
   This provision presupposes the birth of Him whom god will make manifest from parents both of whom will be of the Bayani faith. Mirza Husayn Ali was a married man of 27 years of age when the Primal Point declared his mission in 1844. The attention of Mirza Husayn Ali was called by one of the people of the Bayan through one of the former’s “saints” to this specific provision which could not be reconciled to Mirza Husayn Ali’s pretensions on grounds of age. In his riposte Mirza Husayn Ali retorted that “the purity of the semen for Him whom god will make manifest did not hang on the word of his creatures,” and that “the station of the Point, whose return Mirza Husayn Ali pretended to be, “was established by a word from Him whom god will make manifest”, to whose office Mirza Husayn Ali set up a pretension. 2. Even when Him whom god will make manifest is a baby in his cradle, crying for milk, aid for all flows from him. VI, 4.


3. Children must not be beaten, lest thereby He whom god will make manifest be grieved.
   “The fruits of these ordinances is this, that per chance no sorrow may befall that Soul from the Ocean of whose bounty all, are endorsed with existence. For the teacher does not know the Teacher of himself and of all, even as in the Manifestation of the Furqan [i.e. the Quran] none recognized that Sun of Truth til forty years had passed, and in the case of the Point of Bayan for twenty five years. VI, II.
   When in Maku in 1848 the Primal Point laid down these provisions for the childhood and education of Him whom god will make manifest, Mirza Husayn Ali had already completed his preliminary and secondary education according to the then norms, and was a married man with children.


4. In his autograph epistle, collection containing some of the autograph Epistle of the Primal Point and his amanuensis Aqa Sayyid Husayn (of Yazd)], P. 20, addressed as “to be illuminated in the Primary School of Him whom god will make manifest”, the Primal Point addresses himself to him and offers “the Bayan and whoso is in it” as a “gift from me to you”, and adds: “if, in the next Resurrection, at the moment of your sucking milk at the breast of your mother, you were to dismiss whoso is in the Bayan with a gesture of your hand you will be praiseworthy for your gesture. Even though, without doubt, you will exercise patience for nineteen years to reward whoso that bears allegiance to it [i.e. the Bayan].”

   در مکتب خانه من یظهره الله منور فرمایند

   « .. بیان و انجه در اوست هدیه ای است از جانب من بسوی تو و اگر در قیامت دیگر هنگامی که شیر از پستان مادر مینوشی همه اهل بیان را به اشاره دستت معزول کنی در اشاره ات ستایش شده خواهی بود اگرچه شک نیست که نوزده سال صبر خواهی کرد تا هرکس را که به بیان ایمان آورده است به فضل خود پاداش بدهی.... »

   This epistle addressed to the Primary School of Him whom god will make manifest proves that Him Whom God Will Make Manifest is not due to appear in these days. In his Aqdas written by him in Acre in 1873 Elder’s translation, P. 71, Mirza Husayn Ali refers to the Point’s epistle in (d) above and says: “O Multitude of al-Bayan, we entered the School of god while you were reclining, and we carefully observed the Tablet [i.e. the epistle] while you are asleep. By god, the True One, we read it before its descent, but you were careless. We had a through knowledge of the Book, while you were in the loins (of your

fathers).”
