The Fate of the Point’s Writings
12. Subhi’s Account
Fazlulah (or Fayzullah) Muhtadi nicknamed Subhi is the author of the
Kitab-i Subhi. In his new book entitled ‘The Payam-i Padar (“The Father’s
Message”) he says:
P. 184: “A few years after the death of Abdul Baha Abbas when Shoghi
had taken over the reins of administration of Bahai affairs, his maiden
directive was that any letter and documents penned in the handwriting of the
BAB and Baha must be recovered and forwarded to him for retention, the
underlying purpose of which was to withhold from the public, and suppress, any
letter or document calculated to be detrimental to the Bahai faith.”
